- I think kiva is a good thing to do. That is why I support kiva members who engage in healthy plant-based eating (fruits and vegetables), which promotes human health and it doesn't contribute to animal cruelty or climate change. Most people only help others if they can profit from it, and that's a big part of why there is so much poverty in the world. Most banks won't lend to these people, they consider them too risky, but microlending helps people who otherwise would have no access to credit. Helping people out of poverty, one loan at a time.
