Baindu's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! Baindu is a 44-year-old married businesswoman from Kandeh Town Branch. She has four children between the ages of 6 and 12 who are currently attending school.
Baindu runs a retail business and sells palm oil to her customers throughout the surrounding communities. She started this business to take care of her family and has been in business for 24 years.
Baindu says that her challenge is the increased cost of transportation in the country. She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more palm oil to increase her business.
Baindu says that the extra income from this loan will help with her children's education. In the future, she would like to expand her business. She thanks BRAC and Kiva for their support.
