A loan of $675 helps to buy fertilizers, herbicides, foliar fertilizers and pay for labor.

Rosa Maribel's story
This is a hard-working woman with more than 20 years of experience in agriculture, primarily growing coffee and plantains. Currently, she has two manzanas of lempira coffee. Although the last harvest did not give expected results, this year, she hopes to have a more favorable harvest. She also farms two manzanas of plantain on her farm, an activity that generates a consistent income every month. She sells between 1,400 and 1,500 bunches during the cycle of production. The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of fertilizers, herbicides, foliar fertilizers and payment for labor to clean and fertilize her crops to strengthen the production. Her goal is to improve her harvests and guarantee a more stable future for her family. She thanks Kiva for the support which allows her to continue to develop her farming activities with more confidence.
