Linalyn's story
Linalyn resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 35 years old, married and has two dependents. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for eight years.
Currently, Linalyn is seeking a loan of PHP 70,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase a new engine and plywood for their fishing boat.
Linalyn aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
