Rupert

I’m Rupert, an immigrant from South Africa who lost both my parents at a young age. I had a choice — give up or use adversity as fuel to build a better future. I chose the latter.

That drive led me to become a lifelong learner and educator, earning a degree in Sales and Marketing and then a Master’s in Digital Media from Harvard University. My wife, Janel, is a passionate educator and EdTech expert with over 20 years of experience inspiring creativity and advancing learning through technology.

Together, we founded Red Stone Studio — a digital marketing agency committed to helping local businesses clarify their strategies, attract their ideal audiences, and thrive. Our work directly impacts small business owners who often face the difficult choice of closing their doors or growing sustainably.

As educators and entrepreneurs, we are passionate about providing opportunities to others who have overcome their own challenges — we’re building a business that creates jobs, nurtures talent, and develops new skills in our community.

With this loan, we will expand our team and continue serving clients who depend on us to grow their business, stay competitive, and keep their own doors open. We’re proud to give back, and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.
