Maria Cecilia

María, age 64, is a humble and hardworking older person who lives with her spouse, daughter, and granddaughter in a family home. Previously she worked selling fruit and vegetables. Due to competition, her sales decreased, which brought her to seek a new business. Taking advantage of her knowledge of cattle and farming, with her husband she acquired her first heads of cattle. Little by little, she has been adding to that, and has been growing Capiro potates on family land.

Maria requests a loan to buy two heifers, balanced feed, and vitamins, as well as agricultural supplies for her crops. In this way, she hopes to continue providing for her household. Maria wishes to have her own home in the countryside, to be able to be closer to the agricultural work with which she cares for her family and gives her grandchild a good education.
