A loan of $5,025 helps a member to buy merchandise in order to expand their inventory, achieving stability and hope for their future.

Divina Misericordia Group's story
Karen is an active part of the Divina Misericordia Group. She is the primary support of her household where four people depend upon her earnings. She currently devotes herself to selling fruits and vegetables in an itinerant manner. It is a business activity that allows her to generate a steady income for her family.
Ever since she joined the loan group Karen managed to make important advances in her quality of life. With the financial support she received she was able to make improvements to her house, building a new room. She previously only had a small space. This support also allowed her to cover the daily family expenses and give greater stability to her household.
Her biggest dream is to expand her business and to, in the future, generate employment for other people in her community. In order to advance towards this objective she plans to use her current loan to buy merchandise like crates of tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, apples, and oranges. These are key products to stocking her stand and responding to the growing demand of her clientele.
The loan group that she belongs to is also comprised of other enterprising women who devote themselves to selling cleaning products, food, fast food, sweets, cakes, and snacks. They also have neighborhood stores, beauty parlors, and other small businesses.
