Nurjahan And Group
A loan of $2,400 helps a member to purchase seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. for corn, paddy, jute, and fruit cultivation.

Nurjahan And Group's story
Nurjahan, a dedicated 54-year-old woman from Kishanganj, Bihar, lives with her husband and their five children. Her husband cultivates paddy, corn, jute, pineapples and bananas on their farmland, earning a modest income by selling the produce in local markets. However, their current earnings are not enough to ensure long-term financial stability for their family.
To improve their livelihood, Nurjahan and her husband have decided to expand into large-scale cultivation of corn, paddy, jute, and fruits. To support this plan, Nurjahan, along with other women in her group, is seeking a group loan of INR 205,000 from WeGrow, a field partner of Milaap. The funds will be used to purchase seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential farm inputs.
This loan will enable them to boost productivity, increase their income, and work towards a more secure and prosperous future. Nurjahan, her group members, and their families are deeply grateful for the support of kind lenders like you.
