Alyssa

My name is Alyssa, and I’m building this business alongside my longtime friend and business partner, Avalon. My background is in hospitality, event planning, and management, while Avalon’s is rooted in education and hospitality. We first met years ago while working management in a small office job, and eventually became co-workers again in a more creative space at Savoy Tea Co., a beloved local cafe.

Avalon managed Savoy Tea Co. for the last four years, and we worked there side by side, building deep relationships with customers and cultivating a welcoming space for the downtown community. Our friendship has always been rooted in shared values, and over time we began to dream about opening something of our own—an intentional, community-centered space that invites people to slow down, connect, and enjoy the art of tea.

We’re both passionate about hospitality that feels personal and warm, and we’re excited to bring that energy into a business of our own: Fayetteville Tea House.
