Kadidia is the woman holding the goat by the horn in the photo of the group. She is 55 years old. She is married to a farmer and mother to two sons and two daughters. One of them goes to school. The oldest is 37 years old and the youngest is 19 years old.
She is illiterate but very experienced in the field of raising sheep and selling them. She has been doing this for 35 years. Kadidia has come to Réseau (R.M.C.R) knowing that she can get a large sum of money to expand her business.
She gets a natural pleasure from raising sheep and moreover the earnings that she acquires from this activity motivates her more.
Kadidia buys her sheep in the market nearest to her community. She later resells them to buyers in the village and often at the closest market for cash.
Kadidia's hopes and dreams are to manage to ensure a moderate diet for her family and good education for her children. The earnings from her business allow her to take care of some of the family's expenses: the school expenses of her child, clothing, health and food.
Kadidia would like to buy sheep and cattle for her children.
